Friday
Jim at Mockingbird sold another smaller 20x20 night painting for me and called about getting some more. So yesterday I did the trip to Utrecht Art supply and picked up some stretcher bars. I figured lets do them in linen since the masonite ends up being so heavy and costs more on the shipping end of it. This morning I stretched two up and blocked them in.
This is the second view looking down 5th avenue in Portland. I'll let them dry a day or so and see if I can get them finished off in a single painting session for each.
This afternoon I have my son and daughter flying over to Sweden for the summer. So I'm a little sad to see them off. They will be gone for the next two months.
